School Life

At Shakhsiyah Schools we believe that learning happens throughout life and does not stop once we leave the classroom. We are a learning community constantly seeking knowledge to grow closer to Allah ta’ala. Life at Shakhsiyah Schools is infused with Qur’an and Sunnah; all aspects of school life are in accordance with what is agreed upon by the four classical Sunni schools of thought. The curriculum and formal classroom learning is just one element of learning in Shakhsiyah Schools. Children learn through all aspects of school life in many ways as our concept of learning is holistic tarbiyah. Children learn through a range of experiences, educational visits, visitors, celebrations, workshops, fairs and exhibitions, continuously sharing their learning and the meaning behind it. Children at Shakhsiyah Schools are encouraged to have high aspirations and goals to succeed in this life and the next in accordance with the Islamic concept of falah (success).

Our children see the school as a second home and take responsibility for life in school, and as they become older they are encouraged to take responsibility for their local community. Parents and families are also part of our school life and are often involved in school activities and celebrations.
